 1. Quartz sand produced by wet method is divided into ordinary quartz sand and refined quartz sand.  The smaller quartzite ore is processed into ordinary quartz sand, and the larger quartzite ore is processed into refined quartz sand.  Compared with dry quartz sand, wet quartz sand has a higher price because it produces less equipment iron and washes away impurities with water, such as less iron content and impurities than dry quartz sand, but its processing is more labor-intensive and material - consuming.

 2. Quartz sand produced by dry method can be divided into three grades: ordinary quartz sand, semi-refined quartz sand and refined quartz sand. When quartz ore is mined from the mountain, it has a yellowish-brown skin.  The products selected for direct crushing and screening of small quartz ores are called ordinary quartz sand, which appears yellow-brown and white. Its advantages are low price and disadvantages are more impurities, so it is mostly used in construction industry.  It is called semi-refined quartz sand, which is selected from the larger quartzite ore material for processing. It is white in appearance but dotted with yellow-brown spots. The product has moderate price and good quality, so it has a wide application range.  After selecting large ore materials and manually removing the yellow-brown skin on the surface, it is refined quartz sand, which appears white and shiny.
